How do you use an eye serum properly?
Depending on the ingredients, you can use an eye serum (like DoeEyes) morning and night. Use it after cleansing and toning and before any other serums and moisturisers. It's important to be very gentle when applying eye serums as the skin around your eyes is very delicate. It can help to use your ring finger so you apply the least amount of pressure when you rub or pat the serum in.
Is eye cream or eye serum better?
Eye serums have more specific, hard hitting ingredients for specific concerns - e.g dark circles or fine lines. Eye creams are more like a moisturiser that provides a moisture barrier... meaning they're not much different to your day or night cream! This is why we suggest saving your money on an eye cream, and using a targeted eye serum instead.
Can I store eye serums in the fridge?
Absolutely. Keeping your eye serum in the fridge is a nice cooling treat for your eyes - especially if you're dealing with puffiness!
